What would be the perfect day in your neighbourhood?
On Mondays, my day off, I like going for a morning jog through the fields up on the Bruderholz, then I enjoy drinking a coffee in the sun before strolling along the Güterstrasse. Without any particular goal in mind, just on a tour of discovery. Last but not least, I like to gaze in wonder at the magical sunset from the Güterstrasse.
How do you and your business contribute to the appeal of this neighbourhood?
At the Max we have created a small oasis where people can flee the stressful hubbub of the city. It’s a unique spot here, connecting sport with gastronomic indulgence. We put a lot of passion and dedication into treating our guests to fine Mediterranean food each day.
Do you have an insider tip from the neighbourhood for us?
In the woods, directly behind the Max, there is a small fountain, hidden away among the trees. In midsummer it is the best place to go and cool off after an exhausting evening of serving.
What would you like for your neighbourhood?
That the Gundeli preserves its unique charm, always stays as lively and open as it is now and allows space for innovative changes.
