What is it, in your opinion, that makes your neighbourhood special?
This neighbourhood has some interesting open spaces with a mix of harbour ambiance and industrial charm. And then there is the colourful, multicultural mix of people from so many different countries. I find the proximity to France and Germany intriguing as well.
How do you and your business contribute to the appeal of this neighbourhood?
The trend-sport hangar is a popular sports and community centre for young and old alike. We have over 1200 m² of space for all-year-round activities in every type of trend sports on wheels.
Do you have an insider tip from the neighbourhood for us?
I often go to Taste Me in the Mauerstrasse for a delicious lunch; when the weather is fine, I skate at the Port Land Do-It-Yourself Skatepark and to enjoy the sunset I go to the Uferstrasse.
What would you like for your neighbourhood?
More long-term prospects for the interim use of the property along the Klybeck quayside, plus a gentle, environmentally-friendly development of the area, that respects the needs of the people who live around here in terms of open spaces.
