What is your favourite time of year in the neighbourhood?

One special moment is always when spring is awakening, when people venture out in t-shirts and shorts again for the first time, to spend the warm evenings in the open air again, when a refreshing mood of optimism prevails. But then there are also the cold winter mornings, emotionally charged and melancholic, when wafts of mist lie over the ports and hundreds of seagulls suddenly migrate across the tri-border area in impressive formations.

We feel at home in this neighbourhood because …

… everybody treats each other as equals here. We would describe the people who live around here as genuine, honest, and down-to-earth. Nobody here feels they are superior to everyone else.
