Do you have an insider tip in your neighbourhood for us?
I can highly recommend lunch by the Petite Flambeuse at the Didi Offensiv restaurant. The food there is truly delicious and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The chef, Laura, is an excellent host and a real asset to the neighbourhood.
What is your favourite time of year in the neighbourhood?
In the summer it’s lovely to go for a dip in the Rhine after I’ve finished work. But it’s often too crowded for my taste, then I prefer to sit outside at the café Flore with a glass of crémant. On the other hand, I do enjoy going for a swim in the Rhine during the winter. Like quite a few other people, I have discovered the joys of swimming in cold water and I relish the very different atmosphere at the Rhine during the winter and the refreshing, clarifying effect the water has on me.
How do you and your work contribute to the appeal of your neighbourhood?
RIVIERA and RIMINI are charming little oases in the busy Feldbergstrasse. There are lovely things here that appeal to the eye and the other senses and often a nice chat to boot. Aside from that, we bring a wide variety of people together with our events such as Catwalk in Public Space and the neighbourhood flea markets.

Urban, lively, colourful.
